Peat Pellets offer quicker rooting due to the air pruning that stimulates fibrous root development within the plug. They work for almost all seeds, providing clean and convenient planting while enhancing germination. Qty: 6 pcs My experience: I failed to grow carnation and basil seeds six times in total. Both seeds were able to germinate, but couldn't grow roots. I was able to successfully grow them after using peat pellets (see pictures 2 and 3). I also sowed petunia seeds using peat pellets since the seeds are so small. Usage directions: 1. Lay pellets side by side in a tray that will hold water. Fill the tray with lukewarm water until pellets are covered and set aside for a few minutes. 2. Pellets will expand up to seven times their original height. If pellets haven't fully expanded, wait a few more minutes or add more water. 3. Once pellets have fully expanded, drain any excess water from your tray and your pellets are now ready for your seeds. 4. Peel back the top mesh on the pellet to expose the peat. Place seeds onto pellet following sowing instruction and gently press. Only use the hole for larger seeds. 5. Never let the pellet dries out or overwater and shelter the pellet from the wind. When the seeds are sprouting, gradually expose the pellet to the sun. 6. When the seedlings have grown big enough, remove the cover and move the seedlings into their final spot.
