Around the city, he a wall
And declared that Babylon would fall

On his throne he and ate
But for it was gettin' late

For he was weighed in the balance and found
His kingdom was divided, stand
He was weighed in the balance and wanting
His houses were upon the sand

Well, the people and drank their wine
And praised the false of his time
All holy things scorned and mocked
But suddenly all their mocking
For on the wall, there a hand
else, there was no man
In blood the began to write
And Belshazzar couldn't his fright

For he was weighed in the balance and found
His kingdom was divided, couldn't
He was weighed in the balance and wanting
His houses built upon the sand

Well, no one around understand

A man who could him peace of mind
But Daniel, the prophet, a man of God
He saw the writing on the in blood
Belshazzar him what it said
And Daniel turned to the wall and

"My friend, weighed in the balance and found wanting
Your kingdom is divided, it can't
You're in the balance and found wanting
houses are built upon the sand"
