Lao Gan Ma or Old Godmother is a brand of chili sauces made in China. It is one of China's most popular brands of chilli sauce. Each jar of Lao Gan Ma contains a mix of chili flakes, onions soaked in soybean oil, some combo of garlic, fermented cabbage, mushrooms, chickens meat, peanuts or black beans, depending on the variety you choose.
