It also provides other richly moisturising fatty acids, such as palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linolenic acid and linoleic acid, as well as antioxidants like tocopherol (Vitamin E), carotenoids and lycopene, all of which help to protect skin from free radical damage and maintain normal barrier function.
