Product Description
Selleys Wet Area Silicone - White 75gm
Ideal for use in bathrooms, kitchens and laundries and delivers a superior waterproof and mould resistant seal that will not shrink, crack or peel away.
Features

3. Waterproof seal - Superior adhesion and resistance to lifting provides a long lasting, flexible seal
4. Mould resistant - helps prevent growth of unsightly black mould and fungus.
5. Available in a range of colours to suit most wet areas.
6. Non corrosive neutral cure formula.
Direction
1.Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
2.Clean surface with turps and dry
3.Place in caulking gun such as Selleys Light Speed Caulking gun, and apply with steady pressure, ensuring sealant is pushed into joint
4.Tool with a spatula dipped in detergent water within 5-10 mins of application
5.Clean up with turps before product skins.
6.Sealant will cure in 72hrs.
Handy Tip
1.For neater joints, mask sides before applying sealant and remove tape before sealant skins.
2.When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant.
3.Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins.
4.Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs or a rough surface, may result so working in sections allows for a better finish.
Safety Tip
1.Not paintable. Complete painting 7 days prior to applying sealant.
2.Not suitable for building materials that bleed oils or solvents, such as impregnated wood.
3.Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene or Teflon. Pre-test plastics before use.
4.Not suitable for aquariums.
5.Not suitable for food or drinking water contact.
6.Not suitable for permanent water immersion.
