Plant Therapy’s standards of quality are some of the strictest in the industry. Before selling an essential oil we do everything possible to establish that it is 100% pure, natural, AND of the highest quality, making it appropriate for use in aromatherapy. To ensure that each oil meets these strict standards, Plant Therapy works directly with world renowned essential oil expert, Robert Tisserand, and several analytical laboratories.
How to Use Essential Oils:
---Massage--This is the use of essential oils during a body massage. Pure essential oils are about 70 times more concentrated than the whole plant. For massaged, dilution are typically 2%-10%.
---Baths-- mix with a fatty substance such as a carrier oil, milk or with castile soap first and then add into bath water. The carrier oil or castile soap protects your skin, and helps the essential oils disperse through the bath water.
---Diffuse -- Diffusers and Nebulisers produces a particle size small enough for the lungs and body to absorb them rapidly. It is absolutely the best way to provide both aroma and therapeutic healing value with essential oils.
---Inhalation--hold the bottle up against your nose or several drops of essential oil are placed on a cotton ball or tissue and take a deep breath to inhale and enjoy.
---Facial Steams--2-5 drops on hot water in a pot, cover head with a towel, steam face. Excellent for opening sinuses, headaches, skin treatment.
NOTE:
The way the oils are made is important, as essential oils obtained through chemical processes are not considered true essential oils.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.
