Description:
Nectar is a sugary liquid produced by flowers to attract pollinators. This is utilised seasonally as an energy source by Sugar Gliders in the wild. In captive diets, substitute nectar should be fortified with Protein, Vitamins & Minerals to ensure an adequate intake of essential nutrients. Petopia Nectar is an easy to use, nutritionally balanced nectar substitute. It should be fed up to 20% of the diet. Petopia Nectar also ensures low iron content to prevent Iron Storage Disease.
Suitable for nectar-eating birds and animals including Lorikeets, Honeyeaters & Sugar Gliders.

Ingredients:
Whey Protein, Casein, Maltodextrin, Sucrose, Vegetable Oils, Omega-3 & 6 Fatty Acids, Carotenoids (Color Enhancers) Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3, E, K, Biotin, Choline, Calcium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Magnesium, Zinc, Iron, Manganese, Copper, lodine, Selenium.
Feeding Guidelines:
Stir & Shake throughly with 1 part of Nectar to 5 parts of Warm Water.
100g makes 500ml of Nectar.
Feed up to 5ml (1 teaspoon or 1/6fl oz) per Sugar Glider per day. Do not overfeed as captive sugar gliders are prone to obesity.
Store nectar in refrigerator for one day or freeze for up to one month. Freeze small portions in ice-cube trays and thaw-out as required. Do not re-freeze thawed nectar.
Storage Guidelines:
Store in cool, dry place.
Store in an air-tight container once open.
