Directions of Use for Fertiliser: Use the following amount for: Small pots (< 15 cm) - 1/2 teaspoon Large pots (> 15 cm) - 1-2 teaspoons Trees - 2-4 tablespoons Apply once every 3 months or when colour is lost. Spread in a ring around stem, do not put near to stem. Water immediately after application. Do not apply multiple types of fertiliser together. Seal tight and keep in a dry, cool place. May produce more leaves and stems than flowers, fruits or edible roots Phosphorus Promotes strong root growth, flowering and fruiting Inadequate phosphorus: Result in dull green leaves with a purple tint, stunted growth and reduced yield Excess phosphorus: Unlikely to harm your plants, but is a serious pollutant of water sources Potassium Regulates the synthesis of proteins and starches that make sturdy plants Results in higher resistance to diseases, heat and cold Inadequate potassium: Result in reduced flowering and fruiting, spotted or curled older leaves and weak stems and roots Excess potassium: Result in salt burn on leaf tips, turning them brown
