Product Description

It saves your SCM resources greatly, does not need to open the timer scanning, frees the SCM to do more things! Just upload the data once when updating the display data! MAX7219 Digital Tube Display Control Module MAX7219 is an integrated serial input/output common cathode display driver. It connects microprocessor with 8-digit 7-segment digital LED display, and can also connect bar chart display or 64 independent LED. It includes a B-type BCD encoder on chip, a multi-channel scanning loop, a segment driver, and an 8*8 static RAM to store each data. Only one external register is used to set the segment current of each LED. A convenient four-wire serial interface can connect all general purpose microprocessors. Each data can be addressed without rewriting all the displays when updated. MAX7219 also allows users to choose to encode or not encode each data. The whole device consists of a 150 mu A low power off mode, analog and digital brightness control, a scan limit register that allows users to display 1-8 bits of data, and a detection mode that allows all LEDs to emit light. Only 3 IO ports are needed to drive 8-bit digital tube! There is no flicker when the digital tube is displayed! Support cascade! The four corners of PCB plate are fixed by copper studs, which can effectively prevent accidents such as short circuit. Digital tube 0.36 inch 4-bit integrated common cathode digital tube This module is compatible with 5V/3.3V MCU (51/AVR/STM32....) Wiring instructions (for example, any IO port can be used to modify the port definition in the program): VCC to 5V GND to GND DIN to P00 CS to P01 CLK to P02 Matters needing attention: 1. VCC and GND must not be in opposition to each other in order to avoid burning out the chip. 2. P0 port of 51 MCU needs to be connected with pull-up resistance. If your MCU does not have pull-up resistance, you can connect the data line to other ports. #MAX7219
