Product Description
Brand new stainless steel.
New stock is 316 Stainless Steel, which is much more resistant to rust than the 201 Stainless Steel I was selling. 304 is also more resistant than 201.
Size is as follows:
MX*YY: X is diameter of thread in mm, YY is length of thread in mm
Usually the Hex size for the bolt will be 1 size smaller than the thread (eg. M5 screw will use a M4 Allen key), but may not always be the case so pls double check the THREAD diameter before purchase.
M5x12 is commonly used for bottle cage for bicycles
M5*20 can be used for bottle cage or for screwing on bicycle handlebar to stem.
M6*20 is commonly used for bicycle brake calipers and bicycle stem.
M6*30 is usually used for headset screws
Screw head diameter for the normal hex type:
M5: around 8.5mm
M6: around 10.2mm
Other sizes available are in the variation, do measure and check what you need.
Usually shifters and brake levers use either m5 or m6, do measure to see what fits for yours.
