Branding of KOKUSAI and its packaging design
Our client wanted a Japanese-sounding name for their line of Koi food products, so we also gave them Oriental-looking designs to match their brand's Japanese identity.
KOKUSAI's food range for Koi fishes has expanded from 2 flavours - Spirulina & Wheatgerm - to 2 more products namely ULTRA and LITE.
You can also see that the packaging design has gone through some changes, whereby upon several discussions between the design team and the client, the outcome is the result that you're seeing here. Some of the obvious changes include moving on from coloured background to plain white; and putting the brand's logo onto black box instead of beige.
Although the design process can be tedious (with reviews and amendments back and forth), it was a very meaningful one for us because we appreciate clients who, despite their busy schedule, would be with us every step of the way in realising their ideal brand.
More product extensions are in the line-up for KOKUSAI, and we're glad our client is choosing us again to continue working on their brand. We're just as excited as them about the next packaging design.

KOKUSAI contains highly digestible premium fish, krill and vegetable proteins as well as wheat to promote optimal digestion at the same time promotes maximal growth potential and a healthy development of your koi’s proper conformation and size. It also contains other key ingredients such as anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals that help protect body tissues. A high amount of wheat germ guarantees good digestion even at low water temperatures.
