Product Description

An extra-long Basmathi rice that has Low Glycaemic Index (GI) and more nutritious. This rice goes through the parboiling process of soaking, steaming and drying. This process improves the nutritional profile especially of thiamin from bran which absorbs into rice (endosperm). Therefore, the rice has nutrients found in brown rice and is deliciousas well. In the process of parboiling, the starch in rice becomes gelatinized, then retrograded after cooling. This promotes the formation of Type 3-Resistant Starch which can act as a prebiotic and is good for health. Cara Memasak / Cooking Instructions: Periuk Nasi Elektrik / Electric Rice Cooker 1. Basuh dan bilas beras. Wash and rinse the rice. 2. Masukkan 1 : 1.5 nisbah air ke dalam periuk nasi. Add 1 : 1.5 water ratio into the rice cooker. 3. Pasangkan suis periuk nasi. Switch on the rice cooker. 4. Selepas beras dimasak, biar kukus selama 10 minit untuk dihidang. Simmer the cooked rice for 10 minutes, thenserved. Cara Masak Convensional / Conventional Cooking Method (Disyorkan / Recommended) 1. Basuh dan rendam beras dalam air selama 2 jam. Wash and soak the rice for 2 hours. 2. Panaskan air mengikut nisbah 1 : 11/3 sehingga mendidih. Boil the water based on 1 : 11/3 water ratio. 3. Tuskan air dalam beras dan masukkan ke dalam air mendidih. Drain the rice and put into the boiling water. 4. Masak selama 10 minit atas api kecil atau hingga air kering. Cook for 10 minutes or until it is dry under low heat. 5. Selepas masak, hidangkan.
