Product Description
Floating powder is a white solid with crystal form and looks like powder, slightly salty. It includes baking salt, some types of acid salts (cream of tartar and sodium aluminum sulfate), adding cornstarch to help absorb water as the reaction can only occur when wet ingredients are mixed with floating powder.
Usually fast breads (quick bread - bread does not require a waiting process) such as biscuits, muffins, scones; and cakes, especially sponge cake.
Baking powder is usually stored in a sealed box, in a cool place and should be replaced every 6 months to ensure the cake is baked fresh.
